Clinical Context & Background

The Oncotype DX Colon Recurrence Score analyzes the expression of 12 genes to predict the risk of recurrence in patients with Stage II and Stage III colon cancer. It helps guide the decision for adjuvant chemotherapy, particularly in Stage II disease (T3N0, MMR-P).
